ユダヤ暦の5777年（グレゴリオ暦2016年-2017）への期待

新しい年を仰ぎ見るとき、神の契約の民イスラエルを中心とする中東情勢にまず目を留めることはふさわしいことである

イスラエル史で国家の流れを変える大きな出来事、―最初のハヌカの祭り, 最初のクリスマス、イスラエル国家建設、六日戦争ー が起こったのはすべて、めったに起こらない「ハヌカの祭り」の初日と「クリスマスイブ」が同日になった年であった…

しかし、苦しみのあった所に、やみがなくなる。先にはゼブルンの地とナフタリの地は、はずかしめを受けたが、後には海沿いの道、ヨルダン川のかなた、異邦人のガリラヤは光栄を受けた。やみの中を歩んでいた民は、
大きな光を見た。死の陰の地に住んでいた者たちの上に光が照った。あなたはその国民をふやし、その喜びを増し加えられた。彼らは刈り入れ時に喜ぶように、分捕り物を分けるときに楽しむように、あなたの御前で喜んだ　…　ひとりのみどりごが、私たちのために生まれる。ひとりの男の子が、私たちに与えられる。主権はその肩にあり、その名は「不思議な助言者、力ある神、永遠の父、平和の君」と呼ばれる。その主権は増し加わり、その平和は限りなく、ダビデの王座に着いて、その王国を治め、さばきと正義によってこれを堅く立て、これをささえる。今より、とこしえまで。万軍の主の熱心がこれを成し遂げる。　　　　イザヤ書9：1－７

2016年は、世界を支配してきたエリート組織が揺さぶられ、新しい動きへと画期的な変化が見られた年となりました。2015年に続いて、難民の欧州への大移動、英国の欧州連合離脱、聖書を愛読し、親イスラエルの立場に立つドナルド・トランプ氏の米大統領選出、ロシアのイスラエルへの歩み寄り等々、2017年に多難な進展が予想される動きが始まりました。

天体では、10月から12月にかけてイスラエルの地平線上に七十年ぶりに、三連続の超大満月が現れるという現象が起こり、ユダヤ教ラビたちは神からのしるしとみなし、ユダヤ暦の5777年（グレゴリオ暦の2016年10/3～2017年9/20）は、イスラエルにとって何か画期的なことが起こると信じています。

二千年前、キリストの御降誕のとき現れた夜空にひときわ光る星もまさに神からのしるしで、東方からの賢者たち一行は、星に導かれて、幼子イエスのおられた場所を探し当てたのでした（ヨシェルの会第四回参照）。

この予想が決して単なる憶測ではないことは、2016年が、教会暦の年末の大イベントを画するクリスマスと、ユダヤ教のハヌカの祭りが重なるという非常に珍しい年となったことからも裏づけられるようです。2016年は、暗闇の世に真の光がもたらされたことを喜び祝う12月24日が、やはり神の光と力を覚える八日間の祭りハヌカの初日と重なり、まさに真の神により一つとされる神の民すべての救いを象徴するかのように、クリスマスが祝われたのです。二つの祭りの重なりは神を待ち望む民に、主の再臨の近づきを新たに告げているかのようです。

ハヌカの祭りは、紀元前二世紀に当時中東一帯を支配していたギリシャのセレウコス王朝に対しユダヤ人が奇蹟的に大勝利をあげ、異端の神々崇拝で汚されたエルサレム神殿を聖め、神に再奉献した出来事に因んで祝われるようになった祭りでした。ヘブル語で奉献の意の「ハヌカ」と名づけられ、レビ記の掟に記されているイスラエルの「主の例祭」に加えられたこの祭りは、キリストの時代にも「宮きよめの祭り」として守られていました。

この祭りの発端となった歴史的出来事は、聖書外典マカバイ記第一、第二に詳細に記されています。シリヤの王アンティオカス四世（175－164BCE）は自ら、「ご自身を顕す神」の意のエピファネスと命名し、常軌を逸した残酷な暴君でした。エピファネスは、この世の終わりに現れると聖書が預言している最後の「反キリスト」のひな型とされている人物で、ダニエル書はその詳細を語っています。キリストご自身も、

それゆえ、預言者ダニエルによって語られたあの『荒らす憎むべきもの』が、聖なる所に立つのを見たならば、（読者はよく読み取るように。）　（マタイ24：15）

と、この忌むべき出来事をきっかけに大艱難期が始まることを警告されました。

エピファネスは、イスラエルにギリシャの多神教樹立を企て、ユダヤ人が律法を守ること（特に、安息日と割礼に関する掟遵守）を禁じ、ユダヤ人のすべての慣習を排除しました。ユダの町々の至るところに異端の神々へのいけにえが持ち込まれ、王の代表者らによる家宅捜索、不当な摘発が少なくとも月に一回強行され、モーセの掟の写しを隠し持っている者、あるいは、割礼の儀式を行っている者はみな処刑されたのでした。

アンティオカス四世は168BCEの12月、自分の誕生日のキスレウの月の二十五日、エルサレム神殿の全焼のいけにえの祭壇に、レビ記の掟で儀礼的に汚れた動物とみなされている豚のいけにえをささげ、至聖所にはゼウス神への偶像を建て、「ゼウス・オリンパスの宮」と呼び、崇拝を命じたのです。

この冒涜行為に憤ったユダヤ人祭司マッテヤスの一族マカバイ家の勇士たちはセレウコス王朝に謀反を起こし、ゲリラ戦から本格的な戦争へと発展したのでした。三年後に、はるかに劣等なユダヤ人勢力が強力なシリヤ（ギリシャ）勢力を打ち負かす奇蹟的勝利が起ころうとはおそらくだれも信じていなかったことで、165BCEのキスレウの月の二十五日に行われた神殿の再奉献は、神のご介入の結果の奇蹟以外の何ものでもありませんでした。

マッテヤスの息子ユダの手柄として最も知られるようになったのは、エルサレム奪還と、異端のいけにえで汚れた祭壇を含め神殿の修復と聖めでした。しかし、奇蹟はこれだけではありませんでした。

神殿が聖められたとき、聖所に置かれた七枝の燭台「メノラー」に点火し燃え続けさせるに必要な純粋なオリーブ油がありませんでした。神殿中を捜したところ、大祭司の封印が施された小さな油びん一個（一日分の燃料）が発見されましたが、掟に則って聖い純粋なオリーブ油を精製、調合して調達するには八日間が必要で、メノラーを燃え続けさせるには、点火を見合わせなければならない状況でした。

しかし、信仰深い者たちは、油がすべて備えられるのを待たないで、メノラーの点火を決行したのです。その結果は、新しい補給の油が備えられるまで、たった一びんの油でメノラーが八日間燃え続けるという奇蹟でした。この神の御介入による奇蹟以降、ユダヤ人は毎年「ハヌカの祭り」を八日間、祝うようになったのです。ギリシャ勢による国家、文化、宗教融合化の圧力、迫害下で、マカバイ家による勝利がもたらしたものは、イスラエルの文化、伝統とヤーウェ信仰の堅持でした。

この約二千二百年前に起こった古代の奇蹟に匹敵する「現代のマカバイ家の奇蹟」と称される出来事は、1948年のイスラエル国家誕生の奇蹟でした。イスラエルは、国連の承認で一日にして国家として誕生し、

だれが、このような事を聞き、だれが、これらの事を見たか。地は一日の陣痛で産み出されようか。国は一瞬にして生まれようか。ところがシオンは、陣痛を起こすと同時に子らを産んだのだ。（イザヤ書66：8、下線付加）

の預言が見事に成就したのです。しかし、神に対する最初の反逆者サタンの謀反以降、真理の神と神の民を敵対視する者たちが絶えることはなく、近隣のアラブ諸国五箇国は、イスラエルの国家としての独立が宣言された翌日、イスラエルに宣戦布告したのです。しかし、このときも神の守りによって1948年末までには、イスラエルはアラブ諸国を打ち負かし、この勝利によって、国連が新しいアラブ人国家に割り振る計画をしていた領土の半分をイスラエルはさらに征服することになったのでした。残りの半分は、ヨルダンとエジプトに分けられ、都エルサレムに関しては、イスラエルが西半分、ヨルダンが旧市街地と神殿の丘を含む東半分を支配することになりました。

このように、イスラエル国家は西暦一世紀から十九世紀間もの年月を経て、外交と戦争の結果突如樹立され、今日に至るまで両舞台での生存競争が繰り広げられていますが、四十九年前にも神の御介入による奇蹟が起こりました。詩篇83：1－5には、イスラエルの近隣諸国がイスラエル撲滅の陰謀を企てている情景が描かれ、同時に、危機にあって神の救いを求め、祈っている神の民が預言されています。

「神よ。沈黙を続けないでください…今、あなたの敵どもが立ち騒ぎ、あなたを憎む者どもが頭をもたげています。彼らは、あなたの民に対して悪賢いはかりごとを巡らし、あなたのかくまわれる者たちに悪だくみをしています。彼らは言っています。『さあ、彼らの国を消し去って、イスラエルの名がもはや覚えられないようにしよう…」と。

この預言を地で行ったような出来事が1967年の六日戦争で、当時のアラブ連合共和国のガマル・アブデル・ナセル大統領は1967年5月28日、イスラエルに対する総攻撃を布告し、目的をイスラエルの破壊と宣言し、その八日後、ヨルダン、シリア、イラク、アルジェリア、スーダン、クウェート、サウジアラビア、モロッコが加わって戦争が勃発したのでした。しかし、イスラエル抹消の試みは失敗に終わり、何と六日間で戦争は終結したのです。

奇蹟づくめの戦争の結果、イスラエルは議論の余地なく戦勝者となり、イスラエルは期せずして、首都エルサレムと神殿の丘を取り戻したのでした（ヨシェルの会第二十回参照）。この六日戦争の後、詩篇83篇は新たな関心で読まれるようになり、ユダヤ人のメシヤ、イエス・キリストが王としてこの世を治めるために来られる再臨のとき、約束の地が完全にイスラエルの制御下に置かれることによって達成されるであろうと、完全な成就が待たれています。

冒頭に引用したイザヤ書のくだりは、キリストがガリラヤ宣教を始められることによって暗やみの時代に光をもたらされることになるとの預言です。クリスマスもハヌカも、神の御子が人となってこの世を罪から「救う」ために来てくださったことによって実現した、闇から光への希望のメッセージを告げています。

2016年はこの二つの祭典が重なり、二千年前、キリストが奇しくもハヌカの祭りのときに語られたメッセージ、「わたしと父とは一つです」（ヨハネ10：30）、言い換えれば、「ヤーウェ信仰に生きるユダヤ人とキリスト信仰に生きる者の信じている神は同じ神、唯一真の神である」が思い起こされますが、この真理の成就、―すべての神の民がキリスト支配の神の国に入れられる― に向かって、神がクリスマスイブとハヌカの初日が重なる年に、大きなメッセージをこの世に語り続けてこられたことに気がつきました。

まず、164BCEに最初のハヌカの祭りが祝われたとき、祭りの初日は12月24日であったといわれています。次に、聖書に従い、エリサベツが洗礼者ヨハネを授かった日から割り出すと、マリヤがキリストを受胎したのは「キスレウの月の二十五日」になりますが、この日が12月24日であったことは十分考えられるのです。さらに、ユダヤ暦を調べていて驚くべきことを発見しました。

イスラエルが大転換期を迎えた1948年と1967年はいずれも、12月25日が「キスレウの月の二十六日」に重なっていたのです。この見事な一致は今後当分起こらないので、ユダヤ暦5777年（グレゴリオ暦2016－2017年）は、神の御介入が期待できる画期的な年になることが予測できるのです。

NEW PHENOMENON OF TERROR OR GOD’S ANSWER; FOREST FIRES

When a year ends and the New Year begins, it is worth noting what is happening in the Holy Land. After the numerous wars and intifadas Israel can include another conflagration in the history books: "The war for our own possessions" with a "fire intifada"! ...God is speaking to all of us through disasters, to call us to repent and return to Him. 

Abimelek son of Jerub-Baal went to his mother’s brothers in Shechem and said to them and to all his mother’s clan, ‘Ask all the citizens of Shechem, “Which is better for you: to have all seventy of Jerub-Baal’s sons rule over you, or just one man?” Remember, I am your flesh and blood.’ When the brothers repeated all this to the citizens of Shechem, they were inclined to follow Abimelek, for they said, ‘He is related to us.’ They gave him seventy shekels of silver from the temple of Baal-Berith, and Abimelek used it to hire reckless scoundrels, who became his followers. He went to his father’s home in Ophrah and on one stone murdered his seventy brothers, the sons of Jerub-Baal. But Jotham, the youngest son of Jerub-Baal, escaped by hiding. Then all the citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo gathered beside the great tree at the pillar in Shechem to crown Abimelek king.
When Jotham was told about this, he climbed up on the top of Mount Gerizim and shouted to them, ‘Listen to me, citizens of Shechem, so that God may listen to you. One day the trees went out to anoint a king for themselves. They said to the olive tree, “Be our king.” ‘But the olive tree answered, “Should I give up my oil, by which both gods and humans are honoured, to hold sway over the trees?”
‘Next, the trees said to the fig-tree, “Come and be our king.” ‘But the fig-tree replied, “Should I give up my fruit, so good and sweet, to hold sway over the trees?” ‘Then the trees said to the vine, “Come and be our king.” ‘But the vine answered, “Should I give up my wine, which cheers both gods and humans, to hold sway over the trees?”
‘Finally all the trees said to the thorn-bush, “Come and be our king.” ‘The thorn-bush said to the trees, “If you really want to anoint me king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, then let fire come out of the thorn-bush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!”
‘Have you acted honourably and in good faith by making Abimelek king? Have you been fair to Jerub-Baal and his family? Have you treated him as he deserves? Remember that my father fought for you and risked his life to rescue you from the hand of Midian. But today you have revolted against my father’s family. You have murdered his seventy sons on a single stone and have made Abimelek, the son of his female slave, king over the citizens of Shechem because he is related to you. So have you acted honourably and in good faith towards Jerub-Baal and his family today? If you have, may Abimelek be your joy, and may you be his, too! But if you have not, let fire come out from Abimelek and consume you, the citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo, and let fire come out from you, the citizens of Shechem and Beth Millo, and consume Abimelek!’ Then Jotham fled, escaping to Beer, and he lived there because he was afraid of his brother Abimelek.           JUDGES 9:1-21.

The passage quoted above from the Book of Judges contains the parable of the trees; the importance of whom you should elect as your leader. Biblical prophets used trees to represent leaders or nations. In this context, Gideon is the so called Jerub-Baal, and Abimelek his son by a Shechemite concubine. In his lifetime, Gideon refused to establish a dynasty in Israel and did not wish his sons to rule the people. After his father’s death, however, Abimelek moved to Shechem (the northern West Bank, today) to start his campaign against his half-brothers. Since the day of Israel’s patriarchs, both Israelites and Canaanites lived together in Schechem, and Abimelek must have considered himself as a representative of both nations.

Abimelek slaughtered sixty nine of his brothers (apart from Jotham, the youngest son of Gideon) and broke the first two commandments by accepting public money from Baal worshipers to finance his revolution, making himself a king, and defiling a historically sacred place in Shechem. He also broke the third and the ninth Commandments through deception and blasphemy, making empty promises to protect his people and to obey the law at his coronation. His selfish ambition and agenda made Abimelek go from one crime to another.

Jotham probably stood on the side of Gerizim as he spoke out the parable of the trees, where a natural pulpit might have been formed so that his voice could be heard as far as Mt. Ebal across the narrow valley. Interestingly Mt. Gerizim was the place where the blessings were to be read according to the Law, while Mt. Ebal was where cursed were to be read as written in Deuteronomy 27: 12-13, although Jotham’s speech was far from pronouncing blessings. In his parable, each tree of olive, fig and vine refused the honour because each would have to sacrifice something to reign and none of them was prepared to make that sacrifice. It was only the thorn-bush, a most useless and worthless plant in the Middle East which bore no fruit, and did not provide any shade that willingly accepted the offer to reign even with a threat of utter surrender. As some passages in the Scripture show, fires would break out in the thorn-bush and threaten the safety of other trees: 

‘But evil men are all to be cast aside like thorns, which are not gathered with the hand. Whoever touches thorns uses a tool of iron or the shaft of a spear; they are burned up where they lie’ (2Sa.23:6-7), ‘Surely wickedness burns like a fire; it consumes briers and thorns, it sets the forest thickets ablaze, so that it rolls upwards in a column of smoke. By the wrath of the LORD Almighty the land will be scorched and the people will be fuel for the fire; they will not spare one another’ (Is.9:18-19) and ‘The Light of Israel will become a fire,  their Holy One a flame; in a single day it will burn and consume his thorns and his briers’ (Is.10:17).

These passages also suggest that thorns could not be used for construction and were only good as fuel for the fire. In Jotham’s parable, it was a symbol of Abimelek. Jotham appealed to the men of Shechem to consider their folly in having chosen to make Abimelech king. He made a prophetic statement that the thorn king would be unable to protect the people and on the contrary, would draw the Lord’s judgment and destroy all those who trusted in him. This prophecy literally came true in verses 56-57, when Abimelek and his followers destroyed one another: 

‘Thus God repaid the wickedness that Abimelek had done to his father by murdering his seventy brothers. God also made the people of Shechem pay for all their wickedness. The curse of Jotham son of Jerub-Baal came on them’. 

Although God did not promptly intervene in the situation to help Jotham, He eventually and seriously avenged the wickedness of Abimelek who had shed so much innocent blood.

Turning our attention to the present Israel, the country has been experiencing dry winters in the last eight years, with another warning of a major drought in November ’16. The Jordan River is the primary water source for the Sea of Galilee, which is in turn Israel’s primary fresh water reservoir, but the water pressure was reported to be lower than it had been in the past 90 years, or since such measurements began. Due to a lack of rainfall in recent years, not only have the Jordan’s tributaries been left dry but also the southern portion of the Jordan River and the Dead Sea. The seriousness of the present situation is demonstrated in the fact that the water level of the country’s main reservoirs are falling every year, and while Israel’s desalination plants have increasingly supplied the national demand for water, they are not an alternative to the necessity of rainfall.

It was in the context of such a desperate climate situation that forest fires raged across Israel for five consecutive days, starting with the first arson on the 22nd of November. This incident reminded me of the passages quoted at the beginning from Judges Chapter 9.

BreakingIsraelNews issued on 26th puts it: 

Fires, many of them arson set by Palestinian terrorists, raged across Israel for the fifth straight day, shutting down the Jerusalem Tel-Aviv Highway on Saturday, and burning over 32,000 acres of forest all across the country. The damage so far is approximately 30 percent worse than the Carmel Forest fire of 2010. The area affected includes the Judean Hills national park and the Kfir natural reserve. …“And call ye on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of Hashem; and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God.’ And all the people answered and said: ‘It is well spoken.’” I Kings 18:24 (The Israel Bible™)  On Friday night, arsonists set fires in three separate locations in the town of Neve Ysuf in Samaria. All 350 families were evacuated. 15 homes were completely destroyed and 25 others were damaged. Four people were injured in the blaze. Also on Friday night, arsonists set fire to Bet Meir outside of Jerusalem. The residents were evacuated. Several arsonists were seen fleeing the scene, and one suspect was arrested. …A fire was also reported near Harashim in the Galilee. …Fire-fighting planes arrived in Israel from Cyprus, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Turkey and Russia. 69 fire-fighters arrived from Cyprus on Saturday to help fight the fires. Eight firetrucks and 40 firemen from the Palestinian Authority joined in the effort. Jordan is sending firetrucks to Israel, and Egypt is sending two firefighting helicopters. A Boeing 747 converted for use in firefighting, nicknamed the Supertanker, arrived in Israel Friday night after a 14 hour flight from Nevada. It is the largest aerial firefighting aircraft in the world and is capable of carrying up to 19,600 gallons of retardant or water. Contracted from the company Global Super tanker, it is the only firefighting aircraft capable of operating at night. Ynetnews.com reported on 27th that 180 were injured and 560 homes were burnt after 5 days of raging fires, and as swathes of the country were still smouldering, security forces began making arrests against a number of individuals suspected of deliberately starting the fires in an act of terror, along with those caught on social media networks inciting readers to arson. Also, during a press conference held on Thursday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself was reported to have warned that the population could be witnessing a new phenomenon of terror.  

It is worth noting that BreakingIsraelNews quoted above connects the disaster by fire in the land of Israel to “God who answers by fire”, by quoting 1Ki. 18:24. The following article entitled ‘A Tree of Life’, issued on 28th Nov. also connects the disaster to a biblical message:

"Wisdom is a tree of life to all who take hold of her; and blessed are they that hold her fast." (Proverbs 3:18) 

After the numerous wars and intifadas (Arab uprisings) Israel can include another conflagration in the history books: "The war for our own possessions" with a "fire intifada"! This is not new terror but rather just another way to fight Israel! Since last Tuesday, the 22nd of November when the first fire was intentionally set, the Israeli fire service and rearguard soldiers have fought the flames in numerous places like Haifa and the Jerusalem mountains. More than 500 homes and houses have been completely destroyed and in Haifa more than 60,000 people were evacuated at the height of the fires. 

Firefighting aircraft from all over the world helped to fight the fires. Israel's citizens have been standing shoulder-to-shoulder in support, among them Arab citizens, who opened their hearts and doors to fire victims.　Approximately 3,000 acres of forests in Haifa and the Jerusalem hills have been destroyed. Now the houses have to be rebuilt and the forests have to be replanted. It will take years and, in some cases, even decades until nature regenerates itself.　The coverage of this event has been very scant in the West. With Israel Today you will not miss out on what is happening in the Holy Land.

Israel Today issued on 29th Nov. also informs us how serious the disaster was: 30 Years to Fully Recover From Israel Fires Israeli experts lamented that it could take as much as 30 years to fully recover from the wave of fires that ravaged the country over the past two weeks. While hundreds of homes were damaged or destroyed by the flames (mostly in the Haifa and Jerusalem areas) huge tracts of forests, including entire nature reserves, were decimated. Current estimates are that well over 35,000 acres of forest were destroyed, and much of the wildlife living there was killed. “While some of the foxes and hyenas and other animals managed to flee the fires, others were not so lucky. Snakes and turtles for example, did not survive,” Uri Naveh, head of the Nature and Parks Authority Jerusalem District, told Israel’s Ynet news portal. The following article issued on 23rd December shows that God is always behind the scenes even in situations that seem out of control and it highlights the fact that no lives were lost and that torrential rain fell on a parched land suffering from scarcity of water. 

Hope rises from the Ashes The forest fires which devastated parts of Israel were contained by fire fighters and then finally doused by torrential rain. Now the task of rebuilding people's lives and homes has begun, as well as the environment. Thousands of trees need to be replaced. Give thanks that God has heard the call for rain and that no lives were lost. Give thanks too that so many nations came to the help of Israel, a just response for the many occasions when Israel has gone to the help of nations suffering natural disasters. Although the hot, dry weather started some fires and fanned the combustion, the authorities estimate that half the fires were due to arson. Pray that all the perpetrators will be caught and brought to justice. Israel made many improvements following the devastating fires in the Carmel region some years ago. Pray that they will learn the additional lessons from these recent fires. Israel still desperately needs rain. Pray that God will heed this call. "For if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, they ought also to be of service to them in material blessings." (Romans 15:27)

According to the Scripture, God is speaking to all of us through disasters, to call us to repent and return to Him. Otherwise judgment will soon fall out on the unregenerate.

Also, surgical operation costs of the pastor hit by a traffic accident, and her hospitalization and treatment costs are included. She has been discharged from hospital and undergoes rehabilitation.

This year, Mary Jane is thinking of her postponed outreach to remote islands, the Romblon and Capiz, which are notorious for witchcraft and many Filipino folklore evil spirits, and where the gospel has not been heard yet. 

Pray for her new plans and also for her ministry being continuously blessed by the Lord.

e-mailをありがとうございます。

いつもインターネットができる環境ではないので、返事が遅くなってしまい申し訳ありません。

去る12月22日(木曜日）、ブラカンの農園を手伝ってくれている少年たちは、休暇で彼らの郷里アブラに帰って行きました。私はクリスマスプレゼントとして、彼らにいくらかの食料雑貨を持たせました。

そのあと親戚がクリスマスにやって来たりで忙しく、きのうはバゴング シラングの教会にクリスマスプレゼントを持っていきました。そしてようやく今、帰ってきたところで、私に送られている数々のe-mailsを見たという次第なのです。

ところが、残念なことに、送っていただいた（送金時に適用される）外国通貨の交換レートについて書いたe-mail、そしてそれ以外のe-mailも読んでいないのです。どういうわけか開けないし、探しても見当たりません。

ですから、送っていただいた最新のe-mailをもう一度送ってくださいませんか？

どうもありがとうございます。そしてさっそくのご返事をいただき神さまに感謝します！

送金くださったこと本当に、本当に感謝します。今週末、さっそく牧者リザ・カパのところに行き、彼女の入院手術費用支払いのために、フルダミニストリーが送ってくださったお金を手渡してきたいと思っています。

家族で静かに過ごしたクリスマス

昨日25日、家には私と娘エゼキエレ、そして私の両親だけで、クリスマスを過ごしました。

クリスマスの時期、私の兄弟たち家族は彼らなりの過ごし方があり、それぞれ12月22日から韓国旅行にでかけたり、マニラのソフィテルで過ごしたりしています。いかに兄弟でも家族持ちになると本当に変わってしまいます。

ですから、私の家族の場合、クリスマスに家族全体で大いに祝うということがなくなってしまいました。それは新年のときも同じです。でも私たちの主は、いつも私たちの人生に対して真実であられます。そのことを感謝します。

クリスマスの日に襲った台風、大事に至らず感謝

この12月28日、私たちは再びアンガット ダムに住むデュマガット部族を訪問する予定です。12月18日にもそこへ行きましたが、アンガット ダム地方当局は彼らを移住させる計画をたてています。悲しいことにまだ彼らの移住先は決まっていません。詳しいことが分かり次第またお知らせします。

本当に皆さまのお祈り、そして金銭的な援助をしていただき、ありがとうございます。

台風はルソン島南部を襲い被害が出ましたが、幸いにも今日の午後通り過ぎました。

続けて、お便りします。

私は今日、この秋の伝道報告書を郵送しようと郵便局に行ったのですが、「スタンプのインク切れのため、本日は取り扱いできない、明日、また郵便局に来てくれ」と言われました。

健康診断の結果…

さて私の腰痛、疲労感について気になっていたので、11月11日、病院に行って血液検査などをしてもらいました。翌日、検査結果が出ました。

貧血症で、赤血球が少なく、血圧は最高80、最低60でした。コレステロールの問題、尿管の炎症もあり、医者は１週間の薬を処方しました。

私はまた伝道所の農園を手伝ってくれている少年のうちの一人リックを、めまいがすると言うので病院に連れていきました。彼の血液検査結果は、高コレステロール値、血尿、脂肪肝、右心臓の脈拍に異常（右心房の働きが不完全）ありでした。

私の父は今、ブラカンの伝道所に住んでいて、少年たちが面倒をみてくれています。

野生豚飼育のアイデア

いのしし？についてですが、2014年2月に平野牧師一行がフィリピン訪問の際、日本には黒豚がいて、価格は高いが送れるかもしれないと言われました。しかし私は日本からフィリピンに黒豚を輸出することは困難だろうと話しました。

その際、私にある考えが浮かんだのです。

野生豚を見つけて繁殖させ、その子豚をアエタ部族、デュマガット部族に（彼らの生計のため）分配するというアイデアです。残念ながらブラカンの豚は、突然の気候の変化（日中と夜間の気温差が大きい）や午後の豪雨などにより、病気に感染してしまいました。そこで私は、アエタ部族が住んでいる町で直接、地場の黒豚、白豚を買い、それを彼らに与えて彼らの生計のために彼ら自身が繁殖させたらどうかと考えたのです。

そしてこの8月から、私は、カワグのジム・アブロング牧師、サン マルセリノのアリエス・イグナシオと、イバ ザンバレスのレックス・イグナシオ牧師とともに、実行に移しました。

教会員はそれらの子豚を生計のために殖やすこともできるし、安定的な食糧として飼育することもできます。豚の飼育、繁殖は子豚が与えられた各世帯で責任を持ってなされます。上記の牧者レックスの場合は、殖えた子豚を売却し、その資金を伝道、教会活動に使用できるわけです。

私はこのことによって、各部族が置かれている不利な状況を軽減できるのではないかと思っています。しかし実際のところ、牧者が部族の教会員に豚の飼育方法などを教え、彼らの生活がよくなり、そのことを通して彼らがイエスの証人になるには、牧者が一生をかけるほどの息の長いプロジェクトになると思われます。

主は、私にジュンジの子どもたちのことを思い起こさせてくださいました。彼らのうち何人かは家族があり、また何人かは働いています。今年の12月には、彼らとフェローシップをもちたいと思っています。

またパンガシナンの子どもたちは休暇時聖書学校の開催を待っており、彼らとも12月に集会を開く予定です。私がまだ元気なうちに、すなわち、私の身体がイエス・キリストのために、まだ山を登ったり、あちこち旅をして人々を訪問できるうちに、以上のようなことを計画し実行しようと思っています。

皆さまのお祈りに再度、感謝いたします。

また時折、倦怠感をおぼえる私の母、またしつこい風邪をひいている私の娘のためにもお祈りください。

10月の活動報告と11月から12月にかけての伝道スケジュールです

親愛なるフルダミニストリーの皆さま　　　11月22日

感謝のご挨拶をいたします。インターネットの設備がないので、ペンを取り、このように手紙を書いています。

10月の私の伝道状況を以下ご報告します。今回は写真を多くお送りしました。

牧者リザ、無事退院

10月初めから十日間で、牧者リザは退院しました。入院費用は245,000フィリピンペソ(約567,000円)になりましたが、私は20,000ペソ(約46,000円)を支援しました。皆さま、お祈りをありがとうございました。今、彼女は在宅ケアおよび投薬を受けています。

10月11～16日、ウェア、サンマルセリノ、イバに住むアエタ部族のところに行き、カワグに滞在して牧者ジニと彼の教会の人たちを訪問しました。牧者ジニには今年8月、豚を寄贈し、彼の妻クララには今回、地豚を贈りました。

私たちはまた、ウェアに住むエウセビオ・パミルヤング（今年の7月亡くなった老人）の家族も訪問しました。そこへは、2014年、平野牧師とFFNチームが訪問しましたが、今は実質、無牧の状態で教会礼拝も定期的に行われていません。私たちは収穫の主に、田畑での働き手を送ってくださるようにと、祈りました。

一方、サンマルセリノの川辺沿いに住んでいたアエタ部族は、昨年、川幅が増し、居住地が川に飲み込まれたため、サントランに移住させられました。2014年、平野牧師とFFNチームが訪問したときは、彼らはまだ川辺に住んでいました。

新しい友人たち、イバのアエタ部族

ザンバレス イバのアエタ部族の新しい友人たちに対しては、この8 月に、そこの牧師と協働して水供給設備を設置することと生計のために豚を飼育することを計画しましたが、今回訪問したら、ハレルヤ！ 水をくみ上げるポンプが設置され、豚小屋（10月に白豚を寄贈しました)も完成していました。

さてロンブロン島とカピズ島への伝道ですが、11月、12月に両島に向かう航空券は非常に高いので、節約の面から訪問は据え置きになっています。ですから、カピズ島にいる牧師には2017年の2月までには訪問したいと伝えてあります。

今後の伝道スケジュール

以下は今後の伝道スケジュールです。

11月26日～12月4日に、ザンバレスのカワグに行こうと思っています。私たちのブラカン伝道所の農園作業を手伝ってくれている少年たちが、小規模の多目的建物を造る手助けをしてくれることになっています。今回は亜鉛メッキの屋根を使用します。

先回2014年には、屋根の材料にその土地の茅（ちがや）と竹を使用しましたが、台風で吹き飛ばされてしまったのでした。この小屋の写真は次回お送りします。

12月のスケジュールですが

おそらく、12月6日にパンガシナンに行きます。

12月14日には、イポでデュマガット部族とのクリスマスパーティーを開きます。

忘れていましたが、11月24日はカラヒュームでのクリスマス、そして12月の第二週にはジュンジの子どもたちとのクリスマスパーティーを開催します。

GOD’S APPOINTED TIME FOR THE  BRIGHT OPPORTUNITY FOR CHANGE

Donald Trump has been elected as the 45th President of America. Is he God's chosen vessel, as Cyrus, a foreign emperor, was chosen as His shepherd as well as His anointed - that is, ‘Messiah’, in the Hebrew, to carry out divine commission in his role as king 2500 years ago? ...

This is what the LORD says – your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: ‘For your sake I will send to Babylon and bring down as fugitives all the Babylonians, in the ships in which they took pride 15 I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.’ 16 This is what the LORD says –he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, 17 who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: 18 ‘Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? In this passage it was prophesied that the mighty Babylonian nation would flee by its splendid ships only to be destroyed because the LORD would send Cyrus, a foreign emperor, as His shepherd as well as His anointed - that is, ‘Messiah’, in the Hebrew, to carry out divine commission in his role as king.

Despite Cyrus being an idolater who worshiped the chief Babylonian deity, Marduk, as well as other gods, the LORD appointed him for His purposes, to deliver and restore His people Israel. The LORD often intervened in Israel’s history, and in this case, His actions brought about a new epoch.

In our days, how does the Lord use His chosen vessel to promote His plans already written in the Bible?

In the early morning hours of 8th November 2016, Donald Trump addressed a crowd in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the DeVos Place Convention Center, on his last stop of the campaign trail in his bid for the office of President of the United States: ‘Such a beautiful and important evening! The forgotten man and woman will never be forgotten again. We will all come together as never before’.
The following article is an excerpt from a comment to the US election result entitled ‘Is God Giving the US a Second Chance?’ issued on 11th Nov.’16.

As his promises of real hope and much-needed change rang through the hall, the camera panned the crowd of 18,000 people from this primarily working class community who had come to cheer him on at 1am. … Unlike any other president I have watched accept his call to office, Donald Trump brought not only his family, his running mate and his campaign manager to the stage - he brought his entire staff and security, and publicly thanked each and every one by name. Joining him in this great moment were political luminaries Rudolph Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Senator Jeff Sessions and Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus, who, when given the microphone by Mr Trump, publicly thanked God for the people's choice.

Thank God, indeed!

For the past ten years, the people of the US and the UK appear to have been set on a fast-track toward being melded into a one-world government, governed by a paradigm that tells us we are not 'progressive' enough, that conservatism is dead and so is our God, that our idea of freedom is wrong-headed, and that our influence and cultural contributions must be ignored and abated at the peril of slowing the globalist utopia for which we all must strive if we are to continue to be relevant in the 21st Century. But what are some of the realities of this global worldview?

A Global Worldview

Most people do not have a clear understanding of the realities of globalism. It seems the common narrative stems from what the media has delivered to us – globalism as a way in which everyone in the world can end division and come together as one, to help one another prosper and become 'better' people. What they do not understand is that for globalism to exist, certain conditions must be met.

The first condition is that the concept of God must die. We must become 'enlightened' and realise that this life on this planet is all there is and all that is possible. We must believe we are all 'accidental' beings, not intentionally created by a superior Being.　

When we remove God, it is the same as removing the concept of 'zero.' In arithmetic, the existence of 'zero' acts as the centre point that creates value for all the other numbers, whether they are +1 or -9. Without the zero, numbers have no reference point or concrete value. God acts as our 'zero' point, if you will. Because God exists, we have value, we have a referent for ultimate truth - and therefore, we also have moral reference. Without moral reference there is no direction for the guidance of either family or society.

Freedom Without God?

When we acknowledge God, we are able to experience true freedom as we walk in relation to his Being, his Truth. Our freedom comes from this relationship. But without God, the burden for moral parameters falls upon man. Without God, there is no 'zero' point to give us value, so our morals and personal values become situationally relative. According to those who denounce the need for moral referents, situational relativism should produce ultimate freedom. Every human should be 'free' to act in any way he/she wishes, being responsible only for his/her individual sense of value and freedom. But deprived of any moral referents, man's thoughts and actions fluctuate constantly, fomenting instability. When there is instability there can be no peace. Therefore, the only way to achieve peace is to create a referent. A created referent or moral base must be established either by populist whim (which is constantly in flux) or by a decree from a self-installed 'elite'. For the globalist, a populist/democratic rule is far too unpredictable and potentially unenlightened to be sustainable and/or sufferable.

Because of this process, the whole goal of globalism becomes primarily peace through control. The equation is simple: God's absolute moral referent allows for freedom. Freedom allows for individuality. Individuality causes differences. Differences breed conflict. Conflict is viewed as being 'bad'. Therefore, individuality is a source of conflict and must be eliminated. To eliminate individuality, you must eliminate freedom. Homogeneity of thought, speech, belief and action must be established. Choices that are voluntary in a free society become enforced in a global society. This is not about enlightenment, it's about enforcement. Genuine tolerance is replaced by rhetoric of tolerance, and that rhetoric is then replaced by a tolerance 'range'.

A New World Order

Once all of our freedoms are brought under global control, we will have a new world order, free from religion, individual expression or thought. There will be a ruling class, and it will not be us. Marx understood this. Lenin understood this. Saul Alinsky understood this. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a student of both Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky, and a self-declared globalist, understands this. For almost 40 years she has fought to make for herself a place at the table, no matter what, or who, it costs. Donald Trump, a man who was raised in and has heavily contributed to the success of America's free-market society, who apparently sees the dangers of globalism, may well think differently.

In spite of what we may think about him personally, Donald Trump has made it clear that he still believes in an America that is great because its people have made it that way. He believes the American people are more than 'workers' and 'eaters.' He believes in the value of the small business, the creative mind, the inventive spirit. It is in his, and our, best interests to protect us from enemies, both foreign and domestic, and I believe he may well do his best to do just that. I believe he will enable us to grow closer with the UK and Israel, and together we will be an inspiration for the rest of the world.

I do not know if, as some assert, Donald Trump has become a Christian. I do not know him personally, nor do I know his family. But I can say this – when, in the early hours of the morning on 9 November 2016, Mr Donald J Trump stood behind that podium before an elated crowd, and with tears in his eyes, opened his arms wide and said, "I love this country!", that man meant every word. It felt as if, once again, America has a President. It's been a long time.

What We Can Do, Together

...but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up on wings as eagles; They shall run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint. (Isa 40:31)

We live in a unique time in history – a time when both America and Britain have witnessed our Father God lift his hand in mercy on our respective nations, to give us the courage we needed to make both Brexit and the populist demand for a Trump presidency, realities.

Now, the work begins for all of us. The US, the UK and Israel must bind together in faith, each of us, as individuals, pursuing and deepening our personal relationships with God, so that we might continue to stand for as long as our Father would ask of us. We cannot just declare our commitment - we must become it. The world is watching. All glory to our God of second chances.

Donald Trump, who is a successful businessman with no political experience, has been elected as the 45th President of America. This unexpected result has been met with divided opinions. French president Hollande expressed that the world was entering a time of great uncertainty, while British Prime Minister Theresa May congratulated Trump’s triumph and looked forward to working closely with him.
Above all, the most rejoiced nation in his election was Israel. According to an “Israel Today” magazine issued on 4th Nov.‘16, the Zohar, Judaism’s primary mystical work had foretold Trump’s victory centuries ago and before the US presidential election, the rabbis in Israel predicted victory for Trump. From the Israeli perspective, Trump is the one who will better defend Jerusalem, the Land of Israel and the Jewish people than Hillary Clinton, who represents nothing new in terms of US foreign policy in the Middle East. Israelis, therefore, seem to have decided to gamble on Trump.

The unexpected election result on the 9th Nov. has drawn the following parallel: ‘Yesterday’s spectacle in America was very reminiscent of our last national election in Israel. The media predicted Netanyahu would lose, and drove that message home at every opportunity, only to see the incumbent prime minister soar to an easy victory. In both cases, the mainstream media was either badly misinformed or was deliberately trying to influence the election results. Either way, all we can say today is “God bless America and Israel!” ’ (“Israel Today” on 9th Nov.‘16).

On 11th, Israeli Education Minister Naftali Bennett expressed his expectations: ‘Israel had been a hostage to the two-state solution for over two decades, and that the election of Donald Trump in America represented an “historic opportunity” to change course’. The “Israel Today” magazine reads:

‘ “It is in our hands to change the course of the State of Israel. To take Israel out of the ‘Oslo’ perception of a ‘Palestinian State,’ to which we have been held captive for 23 years and has brought us only terror, pain, suffering, and a dead end,” read a lengthy statement released by Bennett. The Jewish Home party leader lamented that the notion of a Palestinian state…has turned into a national and international obsession," despite the fact that pushing for such an outcome has only brought more conflict and bloodshed. Bennett said it was time for Israel to re-adopt an attitude of “sovereignty.” He noted that two important world events had provided a rare opportunity to do just that: “On the one hand, the collapse of the Arab-Muslim world in recent years, and on the other hand Trump’s victory in the US.”
Indeed, one of Trump’s close advisors, Jason Greenblatt, confirmed to Army Radio on Wednesday that the US president-elect would break with America’s traditional policy of viewing Jewish settlement in the biblical heartland as an obstacle to peace, and instead put the onus on the Palestinians. “It is certainly not Mr. Trump’s view that settlement activity should be condemned and that it is an obstacle for peace - because it is not the obstacle for peace,” said Greenblatt. Rather than direct and overbearing interference, like past presidents, Greenblatt said Trump “is not going to impose any solution on Israel. He thinks that the peace has to come from the parties themselves”’

Responding all these expectations, just day after his victory, Trump affirmed that his foreign policy would mark a new closeness in US-Israel relations. The following is an excerpt.

“I love and respect Israel and its citizens,” Trump wrote in a statement to daily commuter paper Israel Hayom, which is owned by one of Trump’s biggest campaign backers, Jewish-American billionaire Sheldon Adelson. The US president-elect continued: “I look forward to strengthening the unbreakable bond between our two great peoples. I know well that Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and that it is the only one that defends human rights, and that it is a ray of hope for many people.” As for the peace process, Trump, like his official campaign platform, refused to commit to the two-state solution, instead insisting that the two sides must negotiate a mutually-agreeable solution. “I believe that my administration will be able to fill an important role in aiding the two sides to reach a just and lasting peace, one which must come through negotiations between the two sides themselves, and not through coercion by outside elements,” he said. “Israel and the Jewish people deserve it.”

ユダヤ教ラビ、ユダヤ教徒、聖書を信じるキリスト者の間で、トランプ氏は、グローバル化を推し進めてきた堕落したこの世の体制を修復する器として神が選ばれたとの期待が、数秘術をも含めたさまざまな理由を根拠に高まっている。2017年1月20日に就任するトランプ氏を通して、神はどのように御旨を実現されるのだろうか…

唯一の愛読書として聖書に親しみ、娘夫婦がユダヤ教徒というトランプ氏、二千五百年前に神が選ばれた器、ぺルシャ王クロスがユダヤ人を助け、エルサレム神殿再建に尽力したように、来年はエルサレム第三神殿建築が具現するのだろうか…

天よ。喜び歌え。主がこれを成し遂げられたから。地のどん底よ。喜び叫べ。山々よ。喜びの歌声をあげよ。林とそのすべての木も。主がヤコブを贖い、イスラエルのうちに、その栄光を現されるからだ。
あなたを贖い、あなたを母の胎内にいる時から形造った方、主はこう仰せられる。『わたしは万物を造った主だ。わたしはひとりで天を張り延ばし、ただ、わたしだけで、地を押し広げた。わたしは自慢する者らのしるしを破り、占い師を狂わせ、知恵ある者を退けて、その知識を愚かにする。わたしは、わたしのしもべのことばを成就させ、わたしの使者たちの計画を成し遂げさせる。
エルサレムに向かっては、『人が住むようになる』と言い、ユダの町々に向かっては、『町々は再建され、その廃墟はわたしが復興させる』という。淵に向かっては、『干上がれ。わたしはおまえの川々をからす』と言う。わたしはクロスに向かっては、『わたしの牧者、わたしの望む事をみな成し遂げる』と言う。エルサレムに向かっては、『再建される。神殿は、その基が据えられる』と言う。」　　　　　　　　    　　　イザヤ書44：23－28

2016年11月9日、ドナルド・トランプ氏が米国の第四十五代大統領に選出されました。選挙予測で定評のあるサイトをも含め、メディアの予測を大きく裏切ってトランプ氏がヒラリー・クリントン氏に勝利したことに対し、なぜ予測が大きく外れたかの事後分析の中でメディアの「思い込み」が指摘されていました。主要メディアがひどく誤った情報を伝えたか、あるいは、選挙結果に影響を与えるような情報を意識的に流した可能性を指摘する見解もありました。

正確な情報を伝えるべきこの世のメディアが、世界を支配する黒幕によって買収されていることは知る人ぞ知る既成事実ですが、世界の一体化を掲げるグローバリズムの危険を察知し、その圧倒的な波に逆らって立つことのできる人物として、当選直後から、トランプ氏は大きな期待を集め始めています。

ワシントンの大統領府を過去何十年間も支配してきた政治的エリート層の支配下で、公民権を奪われてきた労働者階級の庶民の間に高まっていた反体制の霊が、今回の異例な大統領誕生で呼び覚まされ活気づいたかのようで、まさに背後で神が「知恵ある者を退けて…わたしの使者たちの計画を成し遂げさせる」と言明されているかのようですが、これは世界的に広まっている風潮のようです。

英国では、今年6月23日の国民投票で世界中の予想に反し、EU離脱が英国民の意向として確定しました。この動きの原動力は、欧州連合本部が定める法律の遵守と体制への服従を迫られ、公民権を奪われ、無力さを感じていた英国の群衆たちの間に高まった反体制の霊でした。今、この動きはヨーロッパ全土に及び、ついには欧州連合の分裂に至るのではないかと懸念されているほどで、12月4日のオーストリアの大統領選挙で、この動きが一層明白になるのではないかと言われています。

イスラエルは首相をはじめ国を挙げてトランプ氏が指揮する米国の新政策に最も期待を寄せている国ですが、トランプ氏の勝利は、ユダヤ教のラビたちによってすでに予告されていました。ユダヤ教の神秘主義者たちによって、トランプ氏の当選は数世紀も前に預言されていたとのことで、ユダヤ人たちの間では今回の結果はまさにその成就、神の御手によるものと信じられています。

イスラエルの指導的ラビたちの間では、トランプ氏とロシアのプーチン大統領の両者を、二千五百年前バビロンからユダヤ人を解放、祖国への帰還を許し、エルサレム神殿再建の勅令を出し、ユダヤ人を助けたペルシャ王クロスになぞらえて、新体制に期待する動きが高まっています。

冒頭に引用したイザヤ書のくだりは、神がだれも信じることができない、びっくりするような新しいことを起こそうとしておられることを告げています。それは異邦人王クロスによるイスラエル人の本国帰還と神殿建設の預言ですが、ダビデの血筋のメシヤによるイスラエル王国の復興をも含蓄した遠未来預言でもあるのです。

イスラエルの宗教的、政治的自治組織サンヘドリンは、エルサレムをユダヤ人の相続地として支持する表明をした両者に、「今日の政治的状況を鑑みるとき、世界の最も重要な指導者二人が、エルサレムに対する霊的遺産としてのユダヤ人の権利を支持することは、歴史的に先例のない出来事になるでしょう」と、世界中のすべての人々に益をもたらす企画、―エルサレムの聖なる神殿の丘に聖なる神殿を建てること― を成し遂げるために、ともに働いてほしい旨、訴える手紙を送ったとのことです。神殿建設の備えがすでにできているイスラエルに対し、トランプ氏とプーチン氏がどのように応答するのか、果たして来年は大きな進展が期待できるのでしょうか。

世界的な福音伝道者ビリー・グラハムの息子フランクリン師も、トランプ氏の勝利は神によるものとの声明を、選出確定直後の10日に発表しました。フランクリン師は、今年米国中の各州を巡り、各州都で祈祷会を開いたとき、今年神は何かをされると感じたそうですが、トランプ氏の勝利はまさにクリスチャンの祈りに対する神の答えであったと、ワシントンポストに語り、この世のメディアは選挙結果に驚き、当惑、落胆で反応し、政治評論家は唖然として言葉を失ったが、みな、背後にある神の要因が分かっていないからだ、と指摘したのでした。

ワシントンポストによると、出口調査の結果、白人の福音派クリスチャンの多くがトランプ氏に投票したとのことで、フランクリン師は引き続き、トランプ氏と、副大統領候補にトランプ氏が指名したクリスチャンのマイク・ペンス氏の二人の指導者のための祈りが必要であること、また、二人を支える政府の取り巻きが重要な鍵を握るので、側近に力強いクリスチャンの男女議員が配属されるよう祈っていかなければならないことを強調しています。全クリスチャンは、だれを支持する云々とは無関係に、毎日指導者のために祈るべきで、どの指導者も神の助けと指示が必要で、米国がまことに「神の支配下に置かれた国家」として歩むことができるよう、とにかく祈っていかなければならないのです。

また、9日のフェイスブックに、フランクリン師は次のような興味深いことを記しています。

米国中の何万というクリスチャンが祈った。今年、クリスチャンたちは各州都に、この大統領選挙とアメリカの未来のために祈るため、集まってきた。選挙に向けて、群れでの祈り、家族での祈り、教会での祈りが始められた。ついに投票日、クリスチャンは投票所に行った。そして、そこに神が顕れた。メディアは頭をかきむしって、いったいどうしてこんなことになったのかを理解しようとしているが、私は、火曜日（8日）の夜、神を信じない無神論の議事項目が進められ、私たちの国がその支配下に置かれるのをとどめるため、神が御介入されたと信じている。神がもう一度アメリカを祝福してくださるように、これが私の祈りです。

トランプ氏の勝利について、米国フロリダ州の退職したクリスチャン消防士マーク・テイラーが五年も前に預言していたことがカリスマニューズ（CHARISMANEWS）に記載されていました。以下はその概略です。

2011年4月、マーク・テイラー氏は、米国の未来について主から言葉を受けた。そのとき神は、ドナルド・トランプ氏を、合衆国を「栄誉、尊敬、復興」へと導くために選んだと言われたのであった。この預言をテイラー氏は五年後に、主が示された数人の人たちと、トゥルニューズのインタビューでこの世に告げた。トランプ氏が勝利し、テイラー氏が預言したことのほとんどが立証された時点で、テイラー氏は再びトゥルニューズに招かれ、預言の全容が明らかにされることになった。

テイラー氏は開口一番、「神は行うと言われたことをすべて、成し遂げられた」と、「預言の霊」なるイエス・キリストに栄光を帰し、これは自分個人についてではなく、預言であれ、執り成しであれ、祈りであれ、断食であれ、チームとしての教会、―キリストのからだ― の努力によるものであることを強調した。

しかし、同時に、テイラー氏は「キリストのからだ」に向け、最初の戦いに勝利したが、まだ全戦いは終わっていない、と警告を発した。トランプ氏は大統領に選出されたが、まだ宣誓を終えていない。敵は、トランプ氏に対する妨害を数回試みるが成功しない。しかし、テイラー氏は特に、米国高官層の根深い堕落と霊的邪悪さを根こそぎにする浄化のためには手ごわい霊的反対があることを、クリントン氏のキャンペーンにオカルトの儀式が関わっていたことを挙げて警告した。

神は覆いを取り除き、現存の政府の邪悪さと堕落ぶりを暴かれるおつもりであること、また、主は国際的レベルで、神の義がもたらされる法廷の召喚を望んでおられることをテイラー氏は語ったが、堕落の暴露はほんの序の口で作業が終わるまで数年間を要すること、トランプ氏の任期中続くであろうことをほのめかした。

テイラー氏は、最初のインタビュー時、4月の時点で実際の人物名を挙げて、最高裁判所の三人が辞職させられることを告げていたが、神が「ご自分の木」から最終的に五人の新任裁判官を選ばれることを11月11日の時点で告げた。堕落の根絶やしは政府内だけにとどまらず、教会にも及び、道徳的に堕落した指導者が根絶され、聖めが行われる。米国の税コードのジョンソン改定は、テイラー氏によれば、悪魔的な代物で、根絶はここから始められる、との予告である。

すでに神の真理の啓示が完成し、そのすべてが記された聖書が行き亘っている今日、神がキリスト者個々人に示される預言は旧約時代の預言者たちに与えられたような権威ある預言ではないこと、自身の思いが多分に混入する可能性があることを明記したうえで、2011年のテイラー氏の預言の一部をご紹介すると、

神の御霊は言われる。わたしは、イスラエルにベニヤミン・ネタニヤフを選んだように、ドナルド・トランプを合衆国に選んだ。アメリカはイスラエルを除き、地上の最も強力、富んだ国家として再び尊敬される。…敵は、私が油注ぎをしたこの人を恐れ、身震いする。…敵は、彼は我々の策略と計画を知っている、彼をどうしてとどめよう、と言う。…御霊は言われる。…わたしが始めたことをだれもとどめることはできない。…イスラエルは再びアメリカによって守られ…かつてなかったように繁栄する。…わたしはイスラエルとアメリカを守ろう…

と、無条件の祝福の約束を語っていますが、神の祝福は受ける側の悔い改めを条件として授けられるという聖書預言の原則に則れば、要注意です。また、メシヤご自身がこの世に来られないかぎり、人の努力では真の平和と繁栄は実現しないことを明確に打ち出している聖書の啓示に照らすと、テイラー氏の預言には希望的観測が多分に盛り込まれているようです。

神に反逆し、警告を無視した結果この世に下る災いと裁き

国連の反イスラエル、反セム主義的偏見と、イスラム教国とオブザーバー国家パレスチナへの迎合

時勢を読むことのできない米国追従の日本国政府

両者に要求されるのは、神を畏れることと神の知恵

主はご自分の地をねたむほど愛し、ご自分の民をあわれまれた。主は民に答えて仰せられた。「今、わたしは穀物と新しいぶどう酒と油とをあなたがたに送る。あなたがたは、それで満足する。わたしは、二度とあなたがたを、諸国の民の間で、そしりとしない。…シオンの子らよ。あなたがたの神、主にあって、楽しみ喜べ。主は、あなたがたを義とするために、初めの雨を賜り、大雨を降らせ、前のように、初めの雨と後の雨とを降らせてくださるからだ。…

旧新約両聖書が一貫して語っていることは、苦しみを通しての救いです。ヨエル書は、人災も天災もすべてを支配しておられる神が、エルサレムへの軍事侵略を制御されず、その結果もたらされる大惨事を、来るべき恐ろしい「主の日」の預言として告げています。

冒頭の聖書の箇所は、ヨエル書の後半部からの引用で、悔い改めた者の新生と復興の未来が眺望されています。すべての人々を救いたいと願っておられる神は熱意のあまり、ご自分の選びの民をひどく懲らしめられますが、同様に、熱意のゆえに怒りから転じて、救いにふさわしくない民をも救われるのです。この神の不義、不従順に対する憤りと、永久に変わらない憐れみ、恵みの本質との交錯が、聖書の至る所に描写されています。

すべての異邦人にとって、「主の日」が、神の裁きによって滅びが宣告される恐ろしい日になるか、悔い改め、主に属することによって解放が宣言される喜びの日になるかは、自分自身の選択です。この世にあって、たとえ困難に遭遇しようと、神が提供された救いの道、―聖書が証しするイエス・キリストを通しての救いの道― を信じ、選ぶなら、神の約束は永久に真実ですから、未来は間違いなく神の保障の御手のうちにあるのです。

数多くの人種、民族の中から「神の証人」として神ご自身が選ばれたユダヤ人、神の都エルサレム、イスラエルの地（136CEにローマ人が「パレスチナ」と命名）は、証人を通しての全人類の救いを計画された神にとっては最大の関心事です。人類史の最後、人類文明崩壊後の「ヨシャパテの谷」での裁きは、異邦人に対する裁きの基準を明示しています。

神を、また、神の選びの民ユダヤ人をどのように取り扱ったかで、終末末期の大艱難期を生き残ったすべての異邦人は裁かれます。メシヤが支配される神の国は、神に反逆する者が地から取り除かれることによって聖められた後、現今の地に到来するのです。

それにしても昨今、「主の日」の到来の前兆であるかのように、「神はなぜ災い、病を起こし、人や生き物が苦しむことを許されるのか」という古来問われてきた謎に直面することが多くなっています。内紛が続いている中東では戦禍が絶えず、防御力の全くない女子ども、一般市民が巻き込まれ、多くの人々が犠牲になっています。反イスラエル主義の再現や国際連合の腐敗ぶりについては、霊的にこの世の情勢を洞察し、執り成しているクリスチャン預言者たちによってはるか前から警鐘が鳴らされてきましたが、マスコミではほとんど取り扱われていません。

外務省のサイトは国連の設立目的を、1．国際平和および安全の維持、2．諸国間の友好関係の助長、3．各国の経済的、外交的、文化的または人道的問題の解決、4．人種および基本的自由の尊重の助長において国際協力の達成としていますが、机上の空論であることを昨今の動きが明らかにしています。

8月の初めに、「イスラム教のテロリズムを国連が財政支援してきた」というニュースをイスラエルが暴露しました。世界最大のキリスト教の慈善団体ワールド・ビジョンのガザ地区の管理職員ともう一人の支援職員が、人道支援のために募金された八億円に上る現金と支援物資を、イスラム原理主義組織ハマスとテロ活動に横流ししていたかどで、イスラエルが二人を起訴したのでした。

主要容疑者のほうはハマス生え抜きのスパイで、隠ぺい工作をしていた二人をだれも訴えようとしなかったので、イスラエルが起訴に踏み切らなければならなかったといういきさつがあったようです。国連開発計画（UNDP）の職員のほうは容疑を認め、ハマスに雇われ、大量の救援物資をハマスに横流ししていたことを自白しました。

しかし、国連側は、彼には外交特権があると主張して問題回避を図っているようです。イスラエル、ガザ間のトンネル掘削現場を隠ぺいするための「温室栽培プロジェクト」開始の嫌疑ほか、窃盗の証拠文書もあり、またガザ地区の住民の多くが海外からの支援金や物資が届いていないと訴えているにもかかわらず、寄贈者の多くが容疑者の嫌疑を信じないばかりか、ガザ地区での事業停止を余儀なくさせられたワールド・ビジョンの最高責任者も、職員の逮捕に異議を申し立てているようです。

起訴された二人の解放のため、マスコミと政治的な圧力が強くなっている中、多くの支援団体と寄贈者がこの起訴事件を、「イスラム教を破壊するためのまた別のイスラエルの邪悪な陰謀」とみなしていることは驚きです。しかも、多くの支援職員らは、これまでにも職員の汚職があったこと、過去二、三十年の間に、ガザとそのほかの地域のパレスチナの難民のために送られた何百億円もの救援資金が略奪されたこと、今回の事件は関係者の二人が発覚したに過ぎないことを認めようとしないのです。

このような類の収賄はめったに大々的なニュースにはならず、過去、多くの詐欺、欺瞞が見過ごされてきたのでした。故イラク大統領サダム・フセインが2003年に失脚後、五年経った2008年に大々的な詐欺の詳細が暴露され、多くの国連職員や企業が関わりを認めたとのことです。関係者はみな、特に国際救援活動団体からアフリカや中東に送られる物資のほとんどが、必要な人たちの手に渡る前に盗まれている現状を認めており、国連は悪化するこの問題の収拾に窮しているのです。（https://www.strategypage.com/htmw/htterr/articles/20160920.aspx）

イスラエルに対する国連の反セム主義的偏見は、国連の下部組織ユネスコで10月13日に通過した決議案の趣旨、　―エルサレムの「神殿の丘」と「嘆きの壁（西壁）」をヘブル名からアラビア語の「アル・ブラク」と「アル‐ハラム・アル‐シャリフ」に改名する― から明らかになりましたが、26日に正式に「エルサレムと、神殿の丘を含む聖なる敷地に対するユダヤ人の関係を拒否する」ことが可決されました。

決議案は、「エルサレムの聖なる敷地での「意図的な破壊行為」を止めるよう、イスラエルに要求する」と宣言、それらの名をアラビア語だけで表記していますが、「破壊」行為とは、神殿の丘の隣接地で行われている考古学的発掘のことで、これまで、この発掘によって、聖書が主張するように、エルサレムが紛れもなくユダヤ人の遺産であることが確証されてきたのでした。

今回の決議案は、それを全面的に否定し、イスラエルの歴史を抹消するものなのです。イスラエルの国連大使は、イスラエルの遺産を否定することは、歴史をゆがめ、ユダヤ人を首都エルサレムと祖国から断ち切るも同然で、そのような試みは失敗に終わることが定まっていると、ユネスコの決議に厳しく抗議しましたが、それはまさに聖書が語っていることです。

キリストご自身、神殿の丘が神の御旨に反して用いられ、汚されていたことを嘆かれ、十字架にお掛かりになる直前、

『わたしの家は、祈りの家でなければならない』と書いてある。それなのに、あなたがたはそれを強盗の巣にした。

と憤られ、神殿の外庭で商売をしていた者たちを追い出し、宮聖めをされたことが福音書に書かれています。キリストがこのように愛されたエルサレム、神殿の丘はユダヤ人にとってだけでなく、キリスト者にとっても、重大な遺産なのです。

神殿の丘と、ユダヤ人やキリスト者との関係を断ち切るこのような法外なユネスコの決議案は、一国家の歴史的、考古学的証拠を隠滅する工作であるばかりでなく、中東平和を一層遠ざけることになるのは間違いないといえます。

13日の決議で反対票を投じたのは、英国、ドイツ、米国を含めた六箇国だけで、日本は棄権しました。ユネスコが国連加盟国の多数を占めるイスラム教国とパレルチナとに迎合している事実と、昨今の日本のアラブ諸国、イスラム教国への手放しの受け入れ態勢の背景には、経済的、政治的要因が関わっていることが考えられます。

聖書は、国家の安全保証は、国家間の軍事同盟や経済同盟にではなく、すべてを支配しておられる神に依存することにのみあることを繰り返し訴えています。神は遠大なご計画の中で、悪や災いや疫病が勝ち、はびこることをも許されます。そのために、多くの善良な人々が苦しむことになりますが、そのことを通して多くの人々が神と出会い、一時的な身体の救いを越えた永久の救い、―魂の救い― に与ることを神は願っておられるのです。

神の憐れみが感じられないようなニュースが多い中、1966年10月21日朝、英国のウエールズ地方の炭鉱の町アバ―ヴァンを襲った大災害の五十周年を追悼する記事が目に留まりました。

小学校の隣接地に山のように高く積み上げられた炭鉱のボタ山が豪雨によって一瞬のうちに崩れ、学校の半数に及ぶ小学生116人と教師を合わせて144人の生命が失われたこの事故の悲劇は、大事故の可能性が三十年近くも前から警告され、住民からの請願にもかかわらず、石炭庁が資金不足などの言い訳で何の対処もしなかったことが原因の人災であったということでした。神は、ボタ山が何度も頂上から崩れ落ちる事故を通して、私利私欲に走る経営者に警告を発してこられたのでした。

また記事には、大災害の前日に、預言的警告が少女に示されたことも記されていました。当時十月初頭のある日、十歳のエリルが、重要な話があるのと言って母親に告げたのは、「私、死は怖くないわ」でした。少女の真剣さを推し量ることのできなかった母親は、まだ若いのだからそんなこと考えなくてもいいのよ、と言い、ぺろぺろキャンディー、欲しい？と話題を変えたのでした。10月20日の朝、エリルは、目覚めたとき昨夜見た夢をはっきり覚えていたので、母親に「私が学校へ行ったら、そこに学校はなく、何か黒いものがその上に落ちて来たの」と告げたのでした。母親は夢のことにはそれ以上関心を示さず、エリルもいつものように学校に行き、特に何事もなくその日は帰宅したのでした。しかし、翌日の朝9時15分、ボタ山が崩れ、石炭の汚泥流がなだれのように下方の石の家々、木々をなぎ倒し、小学校の裏校舎を破壊したのです。

この記事は、「どこに神がおられるのか！」と叫ぶ前に、神がいろいろな形で警告を送っておられること、しかし、神の言葉に耳を傾けようともせず、自分中心な生き方を追い求める人の罪が、災いを招いていることに着眼させるものでした。

この世の国際事情、社会事情、家庭事情は、最初の人類の堕落によってもたらされた罪の世界に住む罪の人によって生み出されているのです。預言者イザヤが

ああ。私は、もうだめだ。私はくちびるの汚れた者で、くちびるの汚れた民の間に住んでいる。（イザヤ書6：5）

と嘆いて、自らと民の罪深さ、無力を認め、神に救いを求めたように、悔い改め、神に立ち返らない限り、人に救い、平安がないことを神は災いを通して学ぶよう導いておられるのです。

Many articles from 13th Oct. onwards about a UNESCO resolution that denies the Jewish claim to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall, and which reclassifies Temple Mount in exclusively Muslim terms have caught my attention. How such a ridiculous resolution to effectively rewrite several thousand years of history of Israel could have been passed is utterly outrageous and inexplicable. Regrettably, it is nothing less than evidence of the enormous anti-Semitic bias prevalent in the world. The following is an excerpt from the Jerusalem Post on Thursday 13th Oct. 2016.

In a 24–6 vote, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Thursday gave preliminary approval to a resolution that denies Jewish ties to its most holy religious sites: the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. …Twenty-six nations abstained from the vote and two were absent. The six countries that voted in support of Israel were the United States, Great Britain, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany and Estonia. … In 2015, the Palestinians, who have been recognized by UNESCO as a member state since 2011, began a drive to change the language with which that international body refers to the Temple Mount area, known to Muslims the Al-Haram Al Sharif (the Noble Sanctuary). Initially they tried and failed to have it declared a solely Muslim site. Since then, they have submitted resolutions on Jerusalem at every possible UNESCO meeting, that uses only the Muslims terms for the Temple Mount area and its adjacent Western Wall. UNESCO’s Executive Board passed such a resolution last April and its 21-member World Heritage Committee had been poised to do so again in July in Istanbul. …
   Thursday’s vote was taken by UNESCO’s 58-member Program and External Relations Commission in advance of its ratification next Monday or Tuesday by the UNESCO Executive Board, which is made up of the same member states. … Ten countries which voted for the resolution the last time it came before UNESCO for a vote, abstained this time around, Gold (Foreign Ministry director- general) said. What that means, he said, is that more countries voted for Israel or abstained, than voted against Israel. The 10 countries which switched their vote from last time were France, Sweden, Slovenia, Spain, Argentina, India, Sri Lanka, Togo, Guinea and Ghana. Gold signed documents over the summer with Guinean officials formally reestablishing diplomatic ties. He also noted the significance of India and Argentina switching their votes and not voting against Israel, as they have traditionally done. … Gold noted that none of the European countries voted for the resolution. …
    Netanyahu suggested that the Bible aside, UNESCO members should visit the Arch of Titus in Rome.
“On it one can see what the Romans brought back to Rome after they destroyed and looted the Second Temple on the Temple Mount 2,000 years ago. There, engraved on the Arch of Titus, is the seven-branched menorah that is the symbol of the Jewish People, and I remind you, is also the symbol of the Jewish state today,” he said. “Soon, UNESCO will say that the Emperor Titus engaged in Zionist propaganda,” Netanyahu said. “To say that Israel has no connection to the Temple Mount and the Western Wall is like saying that China has no connection to the Great Wall of China or that Egypt has no connection to the pyramids. By this absurd decision, UNESCO has lost what little legitimacy it had left,” Netanyahu added. …

According to other comments, while the UNESCO resolution acknowledges Jerusalem as significant to three monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, the section on Temple Mount uses Arabic place-names alone, “Al-Buraq” for the Western Wall and “Al-Haram Al-Sharif” for Temple Mount. Many suggest that its blatant defiance of historical and archaeological record and its clear anti-Israel bias will only encourage further terror attacks on Jews, and the organisation’s activities will be undermined because it is supposed to work for global peace and security. Among many, referring to an anti-Semitic nature of the UN, Frances Rabbitts poignantly points out its anti-Semitic agendas as follows. 

In broader context, the resolution represents the next stage in the Arab bid to delegitimise Israel and erase her claim on the Land, from the top down, through a concerted effort within the UN. The text of the resolution repeatedly refers to Israel as 'the occupying Power' and nearly exhausts the thesaurus with its cries for Israel to relinquish her presence and authority in the West Bank: it 'deplores', 'condemns', 'decries', 'disapproves of' and 'deeply regrets' Israel's authority over the contested areas, condemning "continuous Israeli aggressions" and "provocative abuses", with no mention whatsoever of Palestinian terror activity. …
The resolution on 'Occupied Palestine' is more than just a failure to acknowledge the Jewish claim on Temple Mount – it is a deliberate erasure of it, a bald-faced attempt to rewrite history in favour of contemporary Islamic agendas. It is the latest in a string of distorted, anti-Semitic judgments to emerge from the UN, adding to the international effort to demonise Israel's presence in the West Bank and her claim on Jerusalem. …UNESCO's mission is to build peace "in the minds of men and women". As its behaviour stands in such stark contrast to this goal, we must learn that we cannot rely on international institutions of 'peace' and 'justice' to promote the truth worldwide. Only those whose minds are being renewed by The Truth himself - Jesus Messiah, who makes "one new man" out of Jew and Gentile (Eph 2:15), dissolving centuries of enmity - can show the world the pathway to true peace. And we don't have to be international diplomats or UN officials to do that – it starts where we are, with those immediately around us, today.

Rabbitts concludes that the only key for true world peace lies in the Messiah Jesus Christ and His Word, the Bible, and so, indeed, our entire future depends upon our decision exactly as the Book of Deuteronomy promises (quoted in the beginning). Not only Jews but also all nations should ‘now choose life’, blessings from the Lord and not death and curses.

The following article written by a Turkish Muslim Adnan Oktar, entitled ‘Understanding Zionism: What It Is and What It Isn't’, which admonishes the Muslim world to stop viewing Zionism as a source of evil is worth taking a look at. Despite the utter inconsistency of teachings between the Hebrew Bible (the Old Testament) and the Qur’an, which the author Oktar believes and quotes from, his comment reflects his sound conscience and yearning for peace in the Middle East. His righteous opinion is precious when a tide of Anti-Semitism has been on the rise.

Zionism, named after Mount Zion in Israel, stands out among the hundreds of the world’s nationalist movements. It is all too often attributed to evil conspiracies and placed at the center of all malevolence; this inexplicable attitude is never seen in regard to other nationalist movements.　
   Its actual aim, however, is to bring together the Jewish people who have long been scattered around the world, under the same state. The Jewish Diaspora wanted to establish their own state in their hereditary lands. In our day, the antagonism towards them, in other words anti-Semitism, has been re-branded as anti-Zionism. Anti-Semitism targets all Jews because of their nationality. Though the land upon which Israel is established is ringed by 22 Arab states, all of whom are tied to their ethnic origins, the Jewish people’s gathering together and establishment of their own state has always been a subject of dispute. 　
   Yet Israel is considered as a port in a storm for millions of Jewish people. The State of Israel’s position as a safe home for Jews would be better appreciated considering nearly one million Jewish people, leaving all of their assets behind, were forced to emigrate from Arab countries in the aftermath of the 1948 war.　
   Israel, unlike many Arab countries, consists of people with various faiths and diverse ethnic backgrounds. One-fifth of its population is Arab, while the entire population is composed of over 70 ethnic origins and cultures with 35 different languages and dialects. It is worth mentioning that Arabic is also an official language alongside Hebrew in this country. 　
  Despite some generally-accepted misperceptions in the Middle East, Zionism is not an undertaking devised for world domination. After all the suffering and persecution they went through over the centuries, the Jewish nation’s only goal is to live safely in the lands where their forefathers lived. The Jewish people have been a part of this land for 3,500 years, and were expelled from their homes long ago by the oppressive hand of the Roman Empire. The emergence of the State of Israel serves as the realization of this small nation's dreams of a homeland where they can ultimately live in safety and govern themselves. 　
   It is highly surprising, but also true, that many Muslims are even incognizant of the actual meaning of Zionism. Instead, they prefer to define Zionism as “an evil system which aims to destroy the world order” and erroneously believe that Zionism is the source of all evil in the world. Moreover, many Muslims are under the illusion that anti-Israelism is a part of devotion to God. 　
   Muslims should know that advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people does not necessarily mean adopting an anti-Semitic ideology. Israel’s right to exist, as with any other country in the world, is beyond dispute. Moreover, the recognition of Israel's right to exist would surely stop the bloodshed that has been ongoing for centuries. Jewish or not, murdering innocent people or promoting the expulsion of people from their ancestral homeland just because they are Jews is not in line with the ethics of the Qur’an. 　
   Just as we find in international law, Islam also has a principle of “individual criminal responsibility”. An entire community can never be found guilty as a whole. Every society has its good and evil people. Incriminating or punishing them all without differentiating between the innocent and the guilty is entirely unacceptable. God explicitly grants the Jewish people the right to live in the Holy Land: Remember when Moses said to his people, "My people! Remember God’s blessing to you when He appointed prophets among you and appointed kings for you, and gave you what He had not given to anyone else in all the worlds. My people! Enter the Holy Land which God has ordained for you. Do not turn back in your tracks and so become transformed into losers." (Qur'an, 5:20-21)
   God also informs us in the Qur'an – and this is also promised in the Torah (Deuteronomy 30) – that the scattered Jewish people shall gather during the End Times:　...We said to the tribe of Israel after that, "Inhabit the land and, when the promise of the hereafter comes, We will produce you as a motley crowd." (Qur'an, 17:104)　It is highly significant to see a promise made by God 3,000 years ago coming true and witnessing what was foretold by the Prophet Abraham and the Prophet Moses, God revealed that “The Jews will be in those lands” thousands of years ago, and we can see that miracle coming to fruition now.
   If the Arab-Muslim world recognizes Israel's right to exist as an independent and sovereign state, this century-long bloodshed will surely cease. The greatest benefit here would certainly come to the Palestinian people, who have been greatly distressed due to war and security precautions.
   It is of critical importance to note once again that there is currently a profound misconception in the Islamic world with regards to Zionism and this biased point of view has turned into a misplaced fear of Jewish people over time. Many Muslims are ignorant of the fact that by objecting to the Jews’ right to exist, they are in fact rebelling against the verses of the Qur'an. Explaining Zionism in an accurate way and ending this cycle of hatred against a people who, like Muslims, are also believers in the One True God, is incumbent upon true Muslims.

フレデリックの手紙：2016年10月23日

お父さまの召天

九月下旬、フレデリックから、ブルンジの病院では治療できないので、お父さまの手術のためにケニヤの病院へ行く旨、連絡がありました。その後、10月20日、手術の甲斐なくお父さま死亡の悲報が入りました。

お父さまは八十一歳。ブルンジの平均寿命が五十七歳であることを考慮すれば、大変な長寿でした。しかも、主を受け入れて主の御許に召されたことは何よりもの喜びです。

フレデリックも二週間お父さまと同じ病室で過ごし、お父さまの最期をみとることができ、恵みのときであったとのことです。皆さまの執り成しに対する感謝の伝言を受けました。

私は過去の反省を踏まえて、今取り組んでいるプロジェクトをご紹介し、願わくば、再度の資金援助をお願いしたいと思っています。

現在、レマミニストリーでは、三つのクラスを設けています。

一つはカンクゾウ、もう一つはルタナ州にあります。

私たちはそこで八十八人の牧者を教育研修しています。この研修では月に五日間、三年かけて、以下六項目において彼らの牧者としての能力向上を目指します。

1. 聖書神学   2. 聖書解釈   3．結婚と育児   4．テモテへの手紙第一  5．キリスト教とイスラム教  6．教会の歴史

私は、お金について、一切タッチせず、会計士が二ヶ月に一回、収支報告、写真およびこの研修に参加した人たちの名簿を報告します。

三年間の研修を終えた牧者には、終了証書を交付します。

この研修は、まず彼らの性質を変え、社会を変革し、彼らが牧会している人たちをも変えていくものと、私たちは信じて、取り組んでいます。

皆さまからの支援金は、私の銀行口座を通すのではなく、私が働いている組織の口座に入ります。したがって個人との取り引きではなく、組織との取り引きになります。

この尊いミッション遂行のため、一ヶ月あたり七百ポンド（九万円弱）が必要です。これにより、四人の教育訓練者の報酬、交通費、食費宿泊費、教材費を賄うことができます。私の担当は教材を私たちの言語に翻訳することです。

私たちの救い主イエス・キリストの大いなるお名前においてご挨拶します。

ご連絡をいただきながら、ブジュンブラ（ブルンジの首都）から離れたところにいたため、インターネットが使えずお返事が遅れたことをお許しください。

お尋ねの「レマ‘REMA’」の意味ですが、それはキルンジ語で、強める、高揚する、創造する、再生するあるいは、地震、難民生活、火山爆発、死、市民戦争などで苦しんだ人々を慰めるという意味があります。

私たちのミニストリーは、ブルンジのいろいろな教派の教会と連携して、主のご用にあたっています。私たちは難民にかかわり、彼らの苦しみを緩和するにはどうしたらよいかなども研究しています。

他方で、私たちは、以前のメールでもお知らせしましたが、聖書神学、聖書的執事、結婚と養育、赦しと和解、聖書的解釈などの項目について、牧師の教育、訓練コースを始めました。現在、二つの州で八十五名の牧者が三クラスに分かれて研修を受けています。

私たちは一、二ヶ月ごとに丸一週間彼らを訓練し、三年で卒業となります。

私たちはもっと多くのクラスを開講したいと計画していますが、資金面などで制約があります。以前にも申しあげましたが、このクラス運営のために私たちは資金の一銭たりともむだにせず、そしてその報告をするつもりです。
